This weekend, we are now about a week away from October 24, Election Day! With my team, we are excited about the approach of this big day when you will decide who will represent you on the Council of the City of Ottawa. You know I’m counting on your Vote to be that person. The many meetings with you over the past 2 months have been very enriching and moments of great happiness. Presenting my electoral platform to you, discussing with you the important issues for the quality of life in the 3 sectors of Rideau Vanier which are the Côte des Sables, the Basse Ville and Vanier, were great moments for me. I will therefore continue with even more presence in our neighborhood during this week in the hope that thanks to your vote, I will be the person who will effectively take care of our issues at the City of Ottawa for the next 4 years! My job will be to bring City of Ottawa services closer to our needs.
I went to see the profiles of the other candidates for Rideau Vanier. None seem to have the skills to manage the City’s resources. However, with several departures of councilors from the City this time, many will be new. I fear for the future of our city. I have a Masters in Business Administration and experience in financial management in addition to my extensive experience in community support. I am, therefore, the most qualified for this work in the City for you. Vote for me on October 24 in order to have a rigorous management of the City’s resources and more efficient services for our neighborhood of Rideau Vanier for a better quality of life for all for the next 4 years.
Great meetings and very interesting exchanges on the future of our capital at the luncheon for Ottawa business people last Friday, September 23 at the Shaw Center by invitation from Ottawa trade.

My Sunday September 25th
First, a message to the members of church Le Rocher, then the Franco-Ontarian Festival in Vanier (in front of our electoral office) where, as you can see, I had a good time with the people of the area and also, the deputies for our riding of Rideau Vanier, Mona Fortier, Lucille Collard, the outgoing councilor Mathieu Fleury and a great reference of the Francophonie and the great figure of the Francophonie Madeleine Meilleur and some of our team!
Then it was a break for our last signs with our team member Alexander to finish at CHUO.F radio.

If you have Tele Rogers cable, I hope that you will be available to watch on their waves, the debate I had recently with the other candidates in Rideau Vanier. I enjoyed debating with them about our propositions for our neighbour. This afternoon, you might meet at your home while my team and me, will be on the ground for the door to door.

Did you notice like me that with the Holiday last Monday, this week is shorter. We will not complain about this !
But, the work has the priority for now. For my campaign team and me, our presence on the ground is what is on our agenda. We are happy to come to see you at your home in Rideau Vanier mainly on the afternoon to have some talk with you about what matter for us and for a better quality of life in our neighbour. Back to our busy life after our long Labor Day weekend which means it is the end of the holidays In Rideau Vanier, It is impacted by the exciting atmosphere at Ottawa University where it is the welcoming week. If you can, go there to visit our students and to wish them a happy back to school and encourage them for their new academic year. They will appreciate this!

Although the campaign is keeping us active even during the week end, my team and I will take some time to relax with our families to enjoy this last long week end of the summer ! I hope you will have that chance also. But, you and I may meet at Lower Town, Sandy Hill or Vanier where I will spend some time. See you soon !

So happy to have this slightly rainy weather this morning when nature is being given a break from this sunny heated weather. I hope you share my solidarity with our green environment in Rideau Vanier which makes our fellow citizen living in other parts of Ottawa a somewhat jealous of us LOL Yesterday, I had great time at the University of Ottawa where I met students, employees of restaurants who are getting ready of the new year there. It is very exciting to meet each other. It is always emotional for me to spend some time in the campus where I was often in the years before the pandemic to teach as a a part time professor, to do research or to team up with student clubs for projects.

Today with my campaign, we will receive delivery from our printer, of 10 000 flyers showing my key messages for Rideau Vanier ridding 12. Time for us to get ready for our 1st door to door this week. Yes, we will see you soon at your residence. I am looking forwards to it!

Those were opportunities for me to meet many citizen including residents of Rideau Vanier, to celebrate with them and to talk about concerns and possible projects for our area in a warming atmosphere. Thank you to all those I met who gave energy to my team and I to start our new campaign week !
