I have had a presence at Rideau Vanier for more than twenty years, involving myself in many activities. I have learned to passionately love this neighborhood where I have chosen to live.
I have a wealth of experience in community mobilization, media communication, intercultural relations, administration and also in training in academia and in the federal public service.
I am also co-founder and current vice-president of the Coalition des Noirs Francophones de l’Ontario (CNFO), member of the diocesan council of the Development and Peace organization which works in international solidarity and also, at the same time, co-founder as well as current volunteer general manager of the Cultural Association of the Haitian Youth of Tomorrow (ACJEHD) of Ottawa.

I have been co-organizing various events for the past ten years, in particular, at the Pauline Charron and Richelieu Centers at the premises housing the Boys and Girls in Vanier and at the Sandy Hill community center in Cote de Sables.
Having a Masters in Business Administration obtained from my studies at the University of Quebec in Outaouais and in Montreal, I am a lecturer at the University of Ottawa and trainer of federal civil servants.
In Rideau-Vanier, my daily experience in this neighborhood has allowed me to observe and experience the cultural vitality and all the diversity of this area. I want to be a champion of the inclusion of all Francophone, Anglophone, Aboriginal and newcomer communities living in Rideau Vanier by seeking, in particular, from the City of Ottawa, resources to facilitate initiatives from each of these groups and further develop the energies that are often discouraged by the lack of support.
I often visit with great pleasure the many businesses and businesses that we have, in particular, present in the Lower Town such as the Byward Market, on the Côte-de-Sable near the University of Ottawa and along Laurier Street as well as in Vanier along Montreal Road and Mac Arthur Street. They make us original and give us access to useful products and services for everyone and to jobs for our young people. I am committed to encouraging, protecting and further developing this civic economic presence.
The vulnerable population of Rideau-Vanier such as the youth, the elderly, the poorest among us and the homeless, have many challenges. Acting against the rising cost of housing and for more quality affordable housing close to service centers will be one of my priorities while insisting on a wider distribution at the scale of the City, shelters, drug addiction and help centers for vulnerable populations in order to combat the tendency to concentrate this issue in Rideau-Vanier.
I look forward to meeting you personally to further discuss our shared dreams for Rideau Vanier and making it a better place to live. We can do it !
